Here are the basics I want to get rolling on before we start anything:

1) A mission statement - What we’re trying to accomplish and why we’re trying to accomplish it. Something real moving and motivational. I figured anyone who is interested in contributing to this could write something, and then I would combine what everyone said to make one collective statement.

2) A Myspace layout. I realize myspace is outdated for social purposes, but for something like this I feel it’s necessary to have one. So if anyone knows someone who goes good, professional graphic design work, let me know.

3) A logo. I want this to look as professional as possible. I would really like people to take us seriously, and not think this is some trendy gimick. The name I’ve decided on for the organization is Lifeguards. It’s simple, and I think get’s the point across rather well. So, if anyone knows someone who designs logos, let me know.

I don’t mind paying the necessary amount of money to get these things done. If we’re gonna do this, I want to do it right. I want to have a benefit concert for raise funds to get everything started on this. If you know of any bands that might be interested in helping out with this, talk to them about it, or let me know and I’ll contact them.
